Set of four very comfortable Georgian style high back fireside armchairs c.1930. Shaped and sprung backrests with wings and outswept arms. Over sprung seats with loose feather filled cushions. Upholstered in a beautifully soft burgundy velvet with piped edges. Raised on mahogany cabriole front legs with unusual nipple turnings at the knees. Turned and block rear legs and stretchers also in mahogany. Excellent condition with clean and serviceable covers.
