A very attractive, small 18th cent, French country made oak side table. This table has a single hinged gate which when closed enables the table to be folded away, see pictures. It is in good, strong, firm condition with its old polished and patinated surface. Sizes: 30”(76cms) wide, 23 ½ “(60cms) deep, 26”(69cms) high. O/A sizes when closed: 30”(76cms) wide, 14”(36cms) deep, 32 ½ “(83cms) high. Date circa 1780 I have reluctantly decided that after 60 years spent in this marvellous business it is, figuratively speaking, time to hang up my cheque book. I have therefore made considerable reductions to the prices of most of my stock. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if any items are of interest. Deliveries carried at as normal. In the early 1970’s I moved to Hertfordshire where I opened my own business and created a limited company.
Today, my business is carried out via the internet. Any successful antiques business, and particularly mine, remains a way of life and a hobby, it continues to give me enormous enjoyment and satisfaction.
