Fine Regency Scottish mahogany breakfast table
Fine late Regency Scottish mahogany breakfast table very much in the manner of James Mein of Kelso. I've had a stamped Mein of Kelso rosewood breakfast table for restoration some time ago that had the exact same design of base.
This example has a very nice flame mahogany segmented top with plain flame mahogany veneered freize. As can be seen in the photos the top is veneered on mahogany also. The base is superb and a very nice, typical Scottish design. The carved and scroll design feet have the original castors.
This table is of top quality manufacture.
There are a few minor veneer chips that could be repaired if required.
SIZES 52" diameter top. 28 1/2" high
