Fine quality mahogany extending dining table, circa 1840. In the manner of world renown 19th century cabinet making firm 'Gillows of Lancaster'. Having a pull out action and complete with its original single mahogany leaf, which makes this nice sized 4 seater table when closed into a 6 seater with ease. Standing on elegantly tapered and fluted Cuban mahogany supports and complete with its original well engineered brass cup castors. A beautiful colour with slight fading , however the table has marks and the extra leaf also has marks with a slight bloom to the finish .
