A Chinese Antique four-fold screen dated from around c1840 decorated both sides, the front panels are finely painted and decorated with gold leaf with scenes of figures in pavilions, birds and oriental gardens this is surrounded with dragons on the frame to the reverse is wild life scenes blossom trees and naive vases and pots these are surrounded floral designs. The screen has been cleaned carefully to insure the conservation of the artwork and has been left in the original condition that we found it, during its 180 year life it has had some repairs to the uprights and lost its original hinges.

This screen is a very rare find, beautifully decorative and would enhance any interior with its charm.
