Charming farm scene painted in oil on canvas by the Belgian artist Victor Fermeuse (1894-1963) dated 1942. A line of five dairy cows head back to the fields after milking. Past apple trees full of spring blossom with farm buildings and a church steeple in the background under blue skies and billowing white clouds. Very well painted in a lose impressionistic style. Signed and dated in the lower right hand corner. Excellent condition, presented unframed on the original wooden stretcher.
