Fantastic Pair Rare Edwardian Chairs ”J.S. Kinsey”
Fantastic pair of Original English Armchairs, handmade in Manchester, England by famous cabinet maker and upholsterer J.S. Kinsey. Chairs are not made like this anymore. Beautiful wooden carved “ball and claw” legs and carved edges along the entire bottom.

It is extremely rare to find Edwardian antique furniture with the original tapestry fabric, and even more rare to find it in such great condition. We have not see this before and snapped up these chairs the moment we found them for exactly this reason. There seem to be only a couple of small worn pieces in the tapestry. I have shown pictures.
This is a stunning quality antique English Edwardian pair of chairs with absolutely gorgeous tapestry upholstery in fabulous condition for its age. The colours of the tapestry, which would have been handmade for the chairs, are so vibrant and the condition is very rare for an Edwardian piece. These chairs were very well cared for.
Original horsehair Upholstery is still extremely comfortable and durable.

Originally constructed and upholstered by J.S. Kinsey,178 Ashley Road, Hyde in Manchester (see photo of plaque on underside of couch).
Frame is constructed of top-quality solid mahogany with intricate carved details and original Edwardian casters to the back legs.
This stunning pair would look superb and make a statement in any home. Very, very rarely have we seen Edwardian tapestry in such good condition. Would certainly grace any home and is a great investment as it is extremely collectible for a furniture enthusiast or anyone who appreciates beauty and well made English antique furniture.
Super comfortable proportions, with a lovely deep seat.
