Exceptional set of Six Welsh Oak Dining Chairs x 6
A set of six outstanding Welsh oak farmhouse dining chairs of rare traditional form. without doubt one of the nicest sets of Welsh oak dining chairs to enter the market in years, the elegantly shaped rail and back splats with pierced heart detail are simply stunning and beyond charming.
These wonderful chairs are all oak from the Snowdonia region and date from c1780 - 1800. They are in exceptional condition throughout and stand at their full original height with a seat height of 18” - the same as modern dining chairs making them very ergonomic. Displaying the most beautiful rich warm colour and patina with stunning grain throughout. They have clearly been treasured and very well looked after.
They are all nice and tight, lively and strong and free from fault. Perfect for daily use and family life.
They measure 86cm high with a seat height of 45cm. Seat depth 38cm. Seat width 46cm
