Exceptional, large four poster Bed
Stunning is possibly the best way to describe this four poster bed. Built around 1900 we would guess this would have been one for a most impressive house. A superb size capable of taking a 5ft 6in to 6ft mattress by 6ft 6ins long it will look fantastic when all dressed. The lathe base is supplied with it and you only need your mattress of choice to enjoy sleeping like a Maharaja.
This superb bed originated in India and has managed to remain in excellent condition even after travelling half way round the world in its life. We have cleaned it and French polished a small part so everything is now really good, clean and ready to give you a relaxing nights sleep.
The bed has some impressive carving as can be seen in the pictures and lovely barley twist uprights which carry the canopy which has dental moulds along its length.
