Exceptional Burr Walnut Card Table
A Victorian burr walnut card table which can only have come from the workshops of one of England's top cabinetmakers. The table has superb colour and has a generous gadrooned border. It is supported by a circular reeded column emanating from four cabriole legs and feet finished with carved exotic animals, and standing on china castors.
The table, which dates from circa 1860, is in excellent original condition with only the baize cloth having been replaced. The measurements are:
Width: 43" (110 cm) to the outside of the gadrooned border
Depth closed: 19" (48 cm)
Height closed: 29" (74 cm) Height open: 28.25" (72 cm) All items are sold with a 14 day money back guarantee.
