-Welcome to Mersham Manor Antiques-
A superb quality early 19th century William IV games, or side table.
Circa 1830.
Made of rosewood, with stunning figuring and rich contrasting colours to the timbers.
The rectangular top swivels open to reveal a storage compartment below, with a green baize top.
Lovely beading decoration to the rounded corner front edge. Below is a central tablet displaying a beautifully carved anthemion motif.
Makes a wonderful side/console table.
Standing on a turned upward tapering pedestal, with quadriform base with the most lovely carved lion-paw feet over brass castors.
Excellent antique original condition. General signs of age and use, with a lovely patination.
Very solid sturdy and strong.
