Elegant and Fine George III Chippendale Wing Chair chinese chippendale arm %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Such a rare and wonderful Georgian chair with blind fretwork geometric carving to the front legs in the manner of Thomas Chippendale.

The frame in Cuban mahogany is completely original and sound throughout (photos available of bare frame on request) and the chair has been newly professionally reupholstered in a beautiful pure silk upholstery fabric from the Gainsborough Silk Weaving Company of a lovely pale bronze colour and woven as an exact copy of an original 18th century fabric.

With a beautiful serpentine shape to the well padded back, this a very heavy, well made and solid chair yet a superbly comfortable chair of very elegant form.

Dimensions are:

24 inches wide, 23 inches deep and 38 inches high.

Floor to seat is 19 inches.

For metric please multiply by 2.5
I describe and photograph my pieces accurately and with the aim that on arrival each will exceed expectations.

I operate a full refund guarantee and am always happy to give free, honest and friendly advice.
