Edwardian Walnut Wind-Out Dining Table & 2 Leaves
This lovely antique extending dining table dates from c.1910. It is constructed from what we believe to be solid walnut, probably red walnut, and is very heavy. The table is oval in shape with tramline decoration around the edges. It retains two original leaves and a winding handle. The table is supported tall cabriole legs with pad feet. It would seat eight people when fully extended.
Condition: Overall this handsome piece is in good usuable condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing and wear to the woodwork as might be expected and the piece is overall a little faded. There is some scratching and marking to the top and some damage and crazing to the varnished finish. The winding handle has some surface rusting.
