Wonderful Edwardian bookcase in solid walnut in excellent condition with normal marks, scuffs etc commensurate with age and use. This bookcase comes in two sections so easy to transport to and around the home. It's top section has a flared cornice with egg and dart carving, over three glazed doors which open to fully adjustable shelved interior. The base section has two mahogany lined drawers which retain original brass handles plus three shelved cupboards. The doors to the cupboards are beautifully carved and are flanked by pilasters with acanthus carved capitals raised on a plinth base. Each of the shelves in the base can be removed which alters the space for storage. Overall a stunning item with wonderful rich colouring and amazing patina ready to go straight into the home or office.
