Edwardian William Comyns Silver Large Dressing Table Box. This stunning box has been cast as a serpentine table on scroll legs. The lid has been skillfully chased and pierced with a superb image of a bride and groom leaving a church with four bells flanking the scene. The border of the box is also highly decorated. The lid is hinged with a part gilded interior. This is an exquisite example of Comyns work.Hallmarked for London 1903. Weight 267 grams. The piece is in good condition with only age related signs of wear. 1903, Silver, British.
