An unusual Edwardian mahogany hall bench c.1905 with parquetry seat panels featuring a five pointed star set within a chequerboard pattern. The geometrical theme is continued in the circle and cross form backrest. Shaped arms with a carved scroll and reeding and inlaid detail to the front and sides of the base. On tapering square legs with a shaped block foot and further inlay. Excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
