Edwardian Oak Writing Bureau
A charming Edwardian writing bureau crafted from solid oak, showcasing wonderful antique character. The front door features a beautiful linenfold design and folds down to reveal a thoughtfully fitted interior, perfect for organizing stationery or personal belongings, along with a practical paper writing surface. Beneath this, a single drawer with two elegant brass tear-drop handles adds both style and functionality.
Accompanying the desk is a small stool or table that conveniently slides underneath, complementing the design. Both the bureau and the stool/table are supported by exquisitely turned legs, connected by square stretchers for added stability and charm. Like all antique furniture, it bears some imperfections, but these only add to its character. The piece is solidly built, with remarkable wood grain and a rich patina that highlight its fine craftsmanship and timeless appeal.
