Very sweet novelty silver tea strainer by Levi & Salaman with a pair of very nicely cast wise old owls perched on a branch as the cup rest. The handle is also modelled with a beaten finish to form an organic branch effect. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1906.

It measures 5" long, 2 3/16" wide and 7/8" deep and weighs 24g/0.8ozt. Condition is excellent with no dents or damage and surface wear is very light. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
