Edwardian Mahogany Small Glass Top Wash Stand
A lovely antique mahogany washstand. We date this washstand to the early 20th century.
The washstand sits on four square section feet.
The front of the washstand has a central right hand side hinged door fitted with a drop handle mounted on a decorative backplate.
The washstand has a glass splash back that slots into side supports, there is also a glass protective top.
There is a brass towel rail to each side of the washstand and internally there is a mid height fixed wooden shelf.
The cabinet has an overall height of 38" (97cm), a width of 34" (87cm) including the towel rails, a depth of 17.5" (45cm), a table top width of 30” (76cm) and a table top height of 29” (74cm).
This attractive mahogany washstand remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is some slight mellowing to the table top surface with a darker area in the middle and some light scratches to the glass top.
This remains a very stylish & elegant mahogany washstand. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
