A fine example of Edwardian craftsmanship, this superb mahogany bookcase is presented in excellent condition. The top is beautifully decorated with a central floral motif, framed by geometric corner inlays that highlight the artisan''s skill. The double-tiered book compartment incorporates three small drawers, each adorned with fine inlaid edging and classic brass handles. Four slender splats connect the tiers, lending architectural harmony to the piece. It stands on a revolving cruciform base with original brass casters, allowing smooth rotation and easy access. The maker’s plaque remains affixed, attesting to quality and provenance. Both practical and refined, this elegant bookcase offers generous, accessible storage—an ideal choice for creating a compact yet characterful library in any interior.
