Superb Edwardian bookcase made from solid mahogany decorated with beautiful satin wood inlay. The bookcase separates into 2 sections which allows for easy transportation to and around your home. The top has a beautifully inlaid frieze with fan motif decoration and two glazed doors with working lock and key. The base has two small drawers above a two panelled cupboard and stands on square legs with spade feet. The mahogany shelves inside both the top and base can be removed. The mahogany lined drawers run smooth and are of dovetail construction. Like all antique furniture there are imperfections however this is a solid decorative bookcase with rich colouring and amazing graining. A very practical and attractive item of useful proportions offering storage for many books creating a small library in any room.
