Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Foldover Games Table
A lovely antique games table. We date this table to the early 20th century.
The table top sits on four slender downward tapered square section legs with a H stretcher.
The table top is rectangular in shape and has an attractive inlaid edging. The legs and apron also have an inlaid decoration.
The table top turns 45 degrees and unfolds to a rectangle which is supported by the base. There is a storage area below the table top for cards etc. The unfolded table top has a green baize finish.
The open table has a height of 27" (69cm) and width of 28” (72cm).
When closed the table has a height of 28" (71cm), a depth of 14" (36cm) and a width of 18" (46cm).
This lovely table remains in very good solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage.
This remains a very stylish and elegant table. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
