This is an antique, Edwardian, button back easy chair dating to c.1910.

The sinuous, elegant curves of this Edwardian classic armchair are formed over a substantial hardwood frame of some weight. Tightly strung with traditional upholstery this chair is ripe for recovering in a fabric of your choice or to enjoy in it's slightly worn, comfortable current condition.

A top quality example raised on simple, tapered, square section legs, the robust construction is solid in joint and cossets the sitter in the tapered seat promoting good posture with the slight angle form of the rear, padded panel.

The arms sweep gently upwards to join the back just below the serpentine crest and from every angle this chair is a real delight.

A simply wonderful chair, delivered ready to use or recover.
