Ebonised French Cave a Liqueur
A simply stunning French, Ebonised and Rosewood Cave a Liqueur set, circa 1820.
This gorgeous set features an up-and-over style lid, which gives way to 4 large decanters with stoppers, and 16 small serving glasses, nestled within a rosewood veneer cradle, neatly tucked inside the box.
The exterior is ebonised and shows wonderful patination, though in superb condition, commensurate with age. The box is decorated with French Boulle work and brass inlay, and sits over 4 small turned ball feet.
