Early Victorian Teak Campaign Chest c.1850 %%alt5%%
A most unusual solid teak campaign and document chest of a very unusual large size.

The box is completely original and made from a beautifully patinated teak with inset side brass handles.

In excellent and original condition, made by hand in c. 1850 and with a lovely natural colour. Clearly well cared for over the last 175 years.

A really lovely colour and condition, no significant marks and no restorations. Upper snib of lock is missing.

Very rare to find and would have originally been used for storing important documents and items and designed to go with an officer to the field of battle.

Dimensions are:

(approx.) 21.5 inches wide, 14 inches deep and 12 inches tall.
I describe and photograph my pieces accurately and with the aim that on arrival each will exceed expectations.

I operate a full refund guarantee and am always happy to give free, honest and friendly advice.
