An impressive and super quality early Victorian mahogany buffet/sideboard. The upper shelf (the rear gallery of which is decorated with carved applied mouldings) is raised on elegant slab supports to the rear and beautifully carved and proportioned cabriole supports to the front. The base section comprises two panelled cupboard doors with rosette carvings and re-entrant cornered mouldings, raised on a plinth base and original white china wheeled castors. The cupboard doors open to reveal a sliding tray to the left hand side, and a lead lined cellaret drawer to the right hand side.
