Fine late 18th to early 19th century Scottish oak cased 8 day longcase or Grandfather antique clock. Great early design case with long door, swan neck top to the hood and original plinth base. Very nice carved decoration to the top of the hood with dentil type cornice. Nice detailing to the top of the trunk door. The case is all original and in very good condition for age. Nice mellow colour.

The 8 day movement is original to the case and is by ROBERT DALGLEISH of FALKIRK. 13" square. Very nice engraved silvered dial. Comes with original pendulum and both original cast iron weights. The antique clock has been fully serviced and as such is in full working order.
