Early Georgian Antique Oak Coffer.
17th Century Antique Oak Coffer.
A fabulous, early Georgian antique oak coffer, standing on very tall stile legs.
The overall colour is superb and the original patina.
The oak top has cleated ends and is attached to the main coffer by huge, original iron strap hinges.
A good method of storage for larger or seasonally required items.
The lock is period and has an large iron key.
This early Georgian antiques coffer features bold, period hand carved decorations to the front panels.
Underneath the coffer front are two small, shaped brackets, these are period too.
