Baschet Baullier . A fine quality, early carriage antique clock. The original escapement with helical spring and chronometer design. A rare case design with floral decorations and feet. An enamel dial with trefoil hands and subsidiary alarm dial. An 8-day duration mechanism with push button repeating and striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. Signed to the backplate by maker. Circa 1840.
