Good early 19th century Scottish mahogany cased 8 day longcase clock by SAM RITCHIE of FORFAR. This is a lovely size east coast antique clock in very good original condition. The case has been made from the very best of mahogany with super grain pattern. The base of the clock has the original swept out bracket feet. The case has quarter round reeded columns with matching reeded columns to the hood. The hood with swan neck top, all original brass ware and inlaid panels of satin birch. The case is a gorgeous original colour and patination. The door lock is a replacement.
