the arched hood with figure of Atlas flanked by trumpeting females and painted dial depicting pastoral scenes, the shaped slide down case with pendulum aperture, brass weights and chain.
the 30 hour chain driven movement strikes the hour and the half hour on a bell and also has an alarm mechanism.
the movement has been overhauled but the face and case remain in original condition and have signs of wear and tear commensurate with age.
