Drop Dial Wall Clock.c.1850.8 day Fusee Movement
An English Drop Dial Wall Clock with 8 day Fusee Timepiece Movement which has been fully restored in our own Workshop.The case is Rosewood and inlaid with Mother of Pearl,it has carved Ears and the Salt Box has glass aperture to see Pendulum.The case has been gently cleaned and Waxed and is in good condition apart from small scorch mark which can just be seen at bottom curve of Saltbox.The 12"painted Dial has been restored, (picture before Restoration available upon request)The dial is Signed.A.(Alfred) Markham,Prince Albert St. Brighton.The Glass has a Cast Brass Bezel. Markham is recorded as working between 1839-1862.
