Oval Dressing Mirror - Original Glass - c1860

A gorgeous example of a Victorian Dressing Mirror.

This mid-sized piece is in great order throughout and benefits from a antique jewellery drawer with flame mahogany oval flap lid.

Original bronze hinge fittings are all fully functioning.

The mahogany frame displays the fine flaming grain wonderfully and benefits from superb hand carved detailing.

The piece sits over carved feet. The mirror plate is original and in good order with attractive light foxing evident.

Overall a nicely proportioned, well carved, mirror in good order.

A very stylish interpretation of the type and sought after with the oval shape and excellent condition.
