Good looking 1940 / 50s pedestal writing desk in English Walnut.
This attractive desk is in one piece. It has 9 smoothly running drawers with blond Beech handles in contrast with the Walnut drawer fronts. The top is beautifully figured below which there are 2 pullout slides. The knee hole area measures 24" high and 22" wide.
The desk has a vanity board to the back and will free stand in a room. Shown here in excellent showroom condition, having been lightly refurbished and then wax polished to show the richness of the walnut finish. An interesting change and alternative to the darker versions of Antique desks
