A quality Georgian Norfolk Longcase antique clock. An arched hood pediment surmounted by 3 original brass finials. Brass capped front and rear quarter hood column capitals. Brass sound fretwork to the hood sides. A well proportioned oak case with an arched trunk door. A well detailed brass and silvered dial with fine central engraving depicting an oriental pagoda. A rarer feature of a date ring to the inner silvered chapter ring edge and 3rd hand indicator. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours on a bell.

Daniel Dickerson of Yarmouth is recorded in Birds' 'Norfolk and Norwich Clockmakers' book as working from 1753 - 1772 and then Framlington.
