SUPERB COTSWOLD SCHOOL OAK TABLE BY ROMNEY GREEN.
This antique oak oval dining table was designed and hand made by Romney Green.
Romney Green was a contempory of Ernest Gimson and went on to pass his trade onto Stanley webb davies and Eric Sharpe.
This very well made, antique dining table features an oval dining surface and drop leaves for easy storage when not in use.
Romney Green has used very well grained oak timber in the making of this table.
Embellished with the typical chip carving which Romney Green was well known for. A similar, smaller table can be seen on page 207 in Arts and Crafts Furniture by John Andrews.
In super, original condition.
