Coin Operated Arcade Machine / Mutoscope Reel Working
Antique 1930s Rotomatic Coin Operated Arcade Machine By Mutoscope Reel
Circa 1935
Step back in time with this stunning antique wooden cased coin-operated arcade machine.
A true vintage treasure from the 1930s.
By the International Mutoscope Reel Company, USA
The machine is fully operational and been converted to modern day 20p coins (would originally have been used on old American cent coins).
Place a coin in the slot and push the coin holder forward.
The rotating wheel will then start to spin the contents of the machine.
A small spinning handle can then be turned that will move your crane claw into position of where you want it to drop.
Then the player can press the central button which will stop the machine rotating and automatically operate the claw drop & grab.
The claw will go down, collect your winnings and drop them in the central bin before going back to the starting to position.
(Unlike modern day machines this claw will acullay grab things for you to win).
Open the winning chamber to collect your prize.
One coin = One play.
The coin in the slot will also activate the internal red light which shows player that the game is in operation and to not insert another coin until the light has gone out. Green lights are on all the time to light up the machine for display (could use another colour lightbulb if you wanted).
Comes complete with all the keys and working locks. Plus some nice silk key tassels.
The machine still retains the coin box inside the workings to keep all the money secure and this also has its own key.
The machine was rewired and had the motors serviced in 2023 by the previous owner.
A true statement piece fo your home and fun for all the family.
