Fine late 18th.c. walnut drop leaf dining table of unusually large dimensions c.1780. Three pieces of solid (and heavy) walnut make a 55″ round top to comfortably seat 4-6 people. Elegantly turned and tapering legs with a pad foot. Folds down to just 16″ wide. Some natural shakes to one leaf around a knot in the timber, otherwise very good unrestored condition.
