This vintage powder compact is suitable for use with modern loose & solid / pressed face powder or as a handbag mirror.
A glorious unused Kigu '84 Series' powder compact. The compact has a beautiful satinized lid with stylish motif set atop. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The mirror gives an excellent accurate reflection. The powder well is protected by a waxed paper insert. The KIGU PLUS sifter means that this compact can be used with loose face powder. Remove the sifter (gauze) & modern pans of face powder can be installed as well. The whole compact has what the makers described as a 'jeweller's gilt finish'. The base is decorated with a complex design made up from tiny chevrons.
This vintage powder compact measures 3" & weighs 75.6 grams.
