A Chinoiserie decorated window seat / duet stool. The black ground lacquer having raised gilded and painted decoration with scenes of a boy fishing, pagodas and foliage to one side, the other with a boy and butterfly net, pagoda, trees and flower heads. The seat retaining the original bright coloured tapestry covering with embroidered birds and flowers. Standing on 4 claw and ball legs with further gilded highlights. Size:- Width...41''/ 104cm.
