Here we have a wonderful Victorian period Teak colonial cupboard on chest or linen press c1840. As you can see the press has a super rich warm colour and patina. There is a beautifully carved over sized pediment to the top. Below there are two cupboard doors which are again beautifully carved with a sunburst shape. The bottom section has a well executed gadrooned edge which is replicated on the base. There is a configuration of two over two drawers which have hardwood linings and hand cut dovetail joints. The whole sits on original turned feet and the drawers have original turned handles. Internally the top has three slides. A rare and decorative press in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 75 inches high 49 wide and 18 deep.
