A fine example of a late 19th century camphor wood campaign chest, now perfectly suited for use as a coffee table.

The chest features three drawers with recessed brass campaign handles and brass corner fittings, retaining a warm, rich patina to the camphor wood grain. Side carrying handles remain intact, highlighting its original portable military design.

In good condition with expected age-related wear.

Ideal as a low storage chest or characterful coffee table.
