C19th French Moustache Curling Tong Heater
A very interesting and rare brass and leather cased travelling moustache curling tong heater. Unscrewing the large brass cap reveals a wick which once alight a pair of curling tongs would have been placed on the pop up rests and gently heated up and, when the tongs were hot used to curl and shape the moustache.
