A late 19th century black painted speller metal bust of a female wearing a blouse and shawl with ribbon tied hair, raised on a semi circular plinth base. The detailing on this in very fine and is gilt highlighted. The mahogany stand is very nice quality having ring turned decoration.
This makes a real statement and would look good in any room.
