A lovely kidney shaped desk in attractive burr walnut. Of very good construction in solid walnut with lovely burr walnut veneers. The kidney shaped top is fitted with a sumptuous black leather writing surface , decorated with blind Greek-key tooling to the edge. There is an arrangement of one long and 4 short drawers giving good storage space. The drawers are fitted with their original brass pendant handles and are lined inside in solid mahogany. The whole desk stands on very elegant scrolling cabriole legs with decoration to the knees and feet. This desk is also finished to the rear so it could be free standing within a room if required. It is offered for sale in excellent original condition, ready to go straight into the home or office.
