Unusual late 19th.c. burr walnut fold over games table c.1880. Fold open the top to make a quatrefoil games table for four people with a green baize playing surface. Symmetrically arranged burr walnut veneers to the top and apron with a crossbanded moulding around the edge. Walnut lined and polished recess below the table top for cards etc. Raised on a crisp turned column pedestal and four shaped and carved legs with scrolling feet and the original white porcelain castors. Some old marks to the top, otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
