Burr Walnut Card Table Card Table Games %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
A splendid burr walnut demi lune (half moon) shaped card table in the Queen Anne style. Well made from solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers to the top and freeze. The shaped top is cross banded and is further decorated with a carved gadrooned border, it folds over and is supported by a pull-out rear leg, to access the green baise lined playing surface. There is decorative carving to the knees and the legs terminate in ball and claw feet. We have had this lovely table sympathetically repolished to a very high standard. It has a wonderful colour and patina and is offered for sale in overall excellent condition.
