This fine quality 19th Century Bonheur de Jour bureau desk is crafted from inlaid burr walnut veneer over a mahogany construction, making it both very heavy and strong.

Features:

Drop well bureau compartment with a patinated tooled leather writing surface.
The mirrored glass is in good condition, showing only light oxidation.
Attractive marquetry inlays and ormolu brass mount decorations.
No loose joints and no signs of woodworm full of character and charm.
The drawers slide freely and we have keys for the glass compartments and fall front.
