Burr Walnut and Ormolu Mount Foldover Card Table
Circa 1860, burr walnut and ormolu mounted foldover card table. With butterfly shaped top, figured walnut veneers, string inlay and floral marquetry. The hinged top opens to reveal the original baize-lined interior with gilded leather to the border, and beneath is a figured burr serpentine apron. It leads on to four cabriole legs with Rococo casting, mythical heads and ormolu cast sabots to the base.
