This is a really beautiful silk prayer rug dating from the mid 20th Century.

The warm ivory field has a central urn surrounded by flowers beneath the mihrab framed by upper spandrels and sky blue rosette borders.

The rug has fine detail and is in excellent condition. This would be perfect for a very beautiful wall hanging, the rug has such warmth in the colours.

It measures 73cm by 47cm.
